Establishing a personal media website, I founded my own business, increasing exposure and creating opportunities to connect with remarkable individuals in our community and beyond. As just a sophomore in college, I've witnessed the impact of my work. After talking to a few ESPN sideline reporters about what would best prepare me for the career, my senior year, I started a podcast that interviews Division One high school committed athletes of all sports. “Tell Me Something Good” started three summers ago to grow my interviewing skills, but along the way, I have met some amazing athletes and people encouraging me in my career. I have now continued Tell Me Something Good this summer by expanding my podcast and interviewing athletes and coaches of all stages, including some big names like LaDainian Tomlinson and Felix Jones! I have traveled around the country to interview many Division One athletes, which you can find on YouTube.  I have created social media sites, produced hype videos, and photographed games for several of my high school's teams and have been hired by other schools in the DFW area. During my senior year in the broadcast journalism program, I served as a regular anchor and sideline reporter. Additionally, I took on the role of Social Media Director on our executive team, a position bestowed upon me by the teacher. The skills I have learned this year through this program and leadership position have impacted my journalism career by helping me learn how to use different programs, edit videos, and grow my interviewing and broadcasting skills. After completing my first year at Auburn University as a Sports Journalism and Production major, I’m excited to continue building on everything I’ve learned and to see how my experiences and the Lord's faithfulness continue to shape my journey."
